Administrative Team

Treatment & Financial Coordinator

rose aquino

Rose was born in the Philippines and raised in San Francisco where she began her career in dentistry. She received her Registered Dental Assistant Certificate at Bryman College and has over 15 years of experience in treatment and financial coordination. Rose is one of the friendly faces who will greet you when you arrive at the office.  She educates our patients on their dental treatment needs and makes sure they are happy and satisfied when they leave. Rose has a love for sashimi-style abalone, a passion for travel and dogs, and has two Great Danes twice her size named Miley and Marley.

Appointment Coordinator

Born and raised in Napa, Herminia began her dental carreer in 1996. She has the amazing ability to speak two languages, Spanish and English. What she enjoys most about dentistry is the positive connections she makes with patients. She serves as a patient advocate, helping them along the way to ensure they understand their dental needs. In addition to her dental experience she is a CNA, Certified  Nurse Assistant. Herminia has many passions including her church and helping the elderly. When asked what she would do if given $1 million dollars she said "help children in need." And who would guess, her least favorite food is a hamburger!

Dental Hygiene Coordinator

colleen beasley

Colleen graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1967 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She served as president of the California Dental Hygienists' Association and continues to hold local offices. Colleen retired from clinical hygiene in 2014 and is the office Hygiene Coordinator. Married for 48 years and with three grown daughters and six grandchildren, her hobbies include reading, traveling, and being with her friends. She and her husband are very active at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Colleen also has a small, part-time job dealing blackjack and roulette for a couple of casino businesses. She has dealt cards at AT&T park and SF City Hall to name a few and she meets the most interesting people. The most she has seen anyone "win" is $14,000!

Dental Hygiene Team

Registered Dental Hygienist

kathy kostka

Kathy worked for many years as a dental assistant before attending dental hygiene school.  She graduated from Diablo Valley College in 2000 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Claus ever since.  She has learned a great deal from Dr. Claus and strives to learn more through continuing education courses.  Kathy loves her job, especially getting to know her patients, educating them, and learning from them as well.  Kathy has been married to her wonderful husband, Joe, for 35 years.  They have a beautiful daughter, Jennifer, an adorable dog, Hannah, and a crazy cat named Kiki who has used eight of her nine lives already.

Registered Dental Hygienist

ivy zellmer

Ivy is a California native who holds two degrees, an A.S. in Dental Hygiene with honors from SRJC (2008) and a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, graduating cum laude from MSU (2015). Ivy enjoys building positive patient relationships while helping them maintain healthy mouths. Her love and passion for dentistry extends beyond clinical hygiene; she also works part-time consulting for various dental companies, and educating her dental colleagues through continuing education courses. She served four years as Trustee for the California Dental Hygienists' Association. Having a background in culinary arts, Ivy loves living in the Napa Valley. She and her husband enjoy traveling the world and hope to one day do a dental mission together. Foods she won't eat: cottage cheese or tripe!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Graduating with her B.S. in Dental Hygiene in 2009, we are happy to have Amy as our newest member of the team. The most rewarding part of her career is building friendly relationships and helping patient's transition to optimal oral and total body health, something she learned while a student at Loma Linda University. Amy is an oral health advocate but also enjoys personally participating in sprint triathlon races. Some things you may not know about Amy: Interstingly she grew up in Africa, absolutely will not eat eggplant, and if she was given $1 million dollars she would pay off her student loans, continue to work (perhaps just a little less), and travel the world with her husband!

Dental Assisting Team

Dental Assistant

Lissette is quiet, sort of shy but very sweet and talented. She is bilingual which is very helpful (Spanish and English). She began working with Dr. Claus at the completion of her dental assisting education, October 2011. She works alongside Dr. Claus during most procedures where she ensures that each patient leaves satisfied with their dental experience. Lissette really likes getting to know each patient, hearing their stories, and seeing them proud of their improved dental health. When she is not at work, Lissette spends time with family and friends and loves exploring the outdoors with her son. She brings the best lunches to work, we always want to eat what she's eating!
